The New social network for businesses launched is aimed at replacing tools like email. Workplace, by Facebook (formerly known as Facebook at Work) launched yesterday and is available to any organisation that wants to use it. Facebook says it “makes it easier to
get things done, all while using familiar Facebook features like News Feed, Groups, Chat, Live Video and more, and is mobile-first, so employees can use it to work with their colleagues from anywhere in the world”.
The app looks similar to Facebook but is kept completely separate from users’ personal profiles.
It is designed to replace other business tools such as email, with more than 1,000 firms already said to be using it.
