Ghana’s Youngest MP Graduates From University With 2nd Class


Twenty-Four (24) year old Member of Parliament (MP) for the Kwabre East Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Ms Francisca Oteng Mensah has finally graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Ms Francisca Oteng Mensah prior to entering parliament was still a final year student at the University pursuing LLB at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

She won the constituency primary in 2015 after beating the incumbent Member of Parliament, Kofi Frimpong  with 321  votes in an area known to be the ‘world bank’ of the then  opposition party.

Nana Akuffo Addo Has Won Ghana's 2016 Presidential Elections

The presidential aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo has won the 2016 Presidential and parliamentary General Elections in Ghana. Mr. Akuffo Addo before the Declaration by the Electoral Commission of Ghana, was Phoned by the sitting President H.E John Mahama Congratulating him and conceding defeat. President Elect Nana Akuffo Addo won the polls by a percentage of 53.85% to that of 43.63% by the sitting President. Congratulations to Nana Addo and All his Parliamentary Candidates who won during this elections.

Two ladies have found themselves at the wrong side of the law after dropping their tops at a polling station on hearing Trump has been declared winner. The ladies, who are Hillary's supporters, removed their tops to show Anti-Trump statements written on their body and were arrested by police for public nudity and inciting ‘public unrest’

Presidential debate finally set to come off from November - IEA

The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) says this year’s presidential debates will come off in November. The first among the three debates, according to the Institute, will take place at the Radash Hotel in Tamale on November 8, 2016. This will be followed by the Vice-Presidential debate on November 15, 2016 at the Best Western Hotel in Takoradi. The Second Presidential debate will take place in Accra on November 22, 2016.

DKB Angry with EC for Disqualifying Akua Donkor..Vows not to Vote on Dec.7


Ghana’s ‘King of Comedy’, Derrick Kobina Bonney, popularly known as DKB, has vowed to stay away from his polling station on election day, December 7. DKB made the disclosure a day after the Electoral Commission disqualified Madam Akua Donkor’s Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) and 13 others from contesting in the upcoming December 7 polls.
