Dubai International Airport's runway has been dubbed 'life-saving' by one of the fortunate passengers. A passenger on board an Emirates plane which crashed landed at Dubai International Airport today said he only survived because the 14,500ft runway is so long."It was a miraculous escape," he said. All the passengers are currently at Dubai International Airport. A hero firefighter died saving passengers and crew after the crash land earlier today, it was also revealed. Jasim Issa Mohammed Hassan died while putting out the flames after the jet crashed.
