Nollywood Star's Stomach Burst Open Again - After Surgery

December 2015 will always remain a year that popular Nollywood actor, Charles Okocha, will never forget in a hurry for many years to come after he survived a bullet wound while attending a function in Nnewi, Anambra state.

The actor, who survived through the grace of God after five bullets were removed from his body is still speechless with the recent turnout of things after the doctors had battled to save his life while going through surgery.


Charles had returned to the hospital after he had been discharged to remove the stitches and while the stitches were being removed, his stomach burst open again exposing his intestines.

He had to be rushed back to the theatre where they had to perform another surgery on him.

“Last week, after the stitches had been removed and I was due for discharge, my stomach suddenly burst open again, exposing all of my intestines. I was quickly rushed back into the theatre and I’ve been in the hospital ever since. It is a miracle that I am still alive,” he told Punch.
