The late Kofi Ansah, a fashion legend has been honoured in the ETV Ghana Fashion Awards 2015 for his immense contribution to the fashion industry and the prestige of the nation.
Mr Ansah was the Founder and Past President of the Federation of African Designers and a 1979 graduate of the Chelsea School of Art with a first class honours degree in fashion design and distinction in design technology.
He designed the anniversary fabric for the Ghana@50 Golden Jubilee Celebration as well as costumes for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 African Cup of Nations staged in Ghana.
The event which was organised in Accra during the weekend was also meant to honour Ghanaian living legends and young talents in the fashion industry.
