Janet Jackson claimed her seventh career Number One album as the singer’s Unbreakable, her first LP in seven years, cruised to the top spot on the Billboard 200.
Unbreakable sold 116,000 total copies in its debut week to give Jackson her
second consecutive Number One album following 2008’s Discipline. Jackson’s latest chart-topper also put the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee in an elite club – occupied only by Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand – as artists to score Number One albums in the 2010s, 2000s, 1990s and 1980s.
