Salaries, allowances of MPS, presidential appointees to be reviewed

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed a five member Presidential Committee to determine the salaries of Article 71 office holders.


The 1992 Constitution says the determination of the salaries and allowances of the Executive, the Legislature and the Judiciary must be determined by the President, on the recommendations of a committee appointed by him and acting upon the advice of the Council of State.
