US Politician Kills Goat and Drinks Blood for Sacrifice

It’s mostly worrying to hear that people actually believe in ‘killing sacrifices’ and kill all sort of animals for this purpose in developing communities—but to have a US politician who is well educated and lives in today’s Florida having drunk the blood of a goat as sacrifice is deeply scary.

The BBC says Augustus Sol Invictus has admitted he “sacrificed” “the animal as part of a pagan ritual, but it was not “sadistic” as some of his critics have alleged.”

Augustus told Associated Press that; “I did sacrifice a goat. I know that’s probably a quibble in the mind of most Americans,” he told the Associated Press news agency.

“I sacrificed an animal to the god of the wilderness … Yes, I drank the goat’s blood.”

According to him, this happened in 2013 when he walked from central Florida to the Mojave Desert where he spent a week, fasting. It was when he returned to Florida that he killed the goat for sacrifice.
