Drake Releases Official Version of “Can I” Featuring Beyonce

Drake stays winning. After delivering his collaborative mixtape with Future and making waves on the Billboard Hot 100, he’s still not done with dropping hits. On Saturday (Oct. 3), during the OVO Sound Radio show on Beats 1, Drizzy’s manager Oliver El-Khatib unveiled “Can I,” the rapper’s duet with Beyonce.

A snippet of the track leaked back in May but now we have the full 2-minuite version of the sparse ballad. On the song, Beyonce is repeating the phrase “Can I, baby?” as Drake implores, “Before I turn the lights out, tell me who the f— you wanna be.”

The song will certainly leave fans of both Bey and Drizzy yearning for more. The pair previously worked collaborated on “Mine,” which appears on Beyonce’s 2013 self-titled album. Rumor has it that it will appear on Drake’s upcoming album, Views from the 6. So yeah, the Toronto rhymer is on top of his grind.

In the meantime, Drake’s “Hotline Bling” received a flawless remix by Erykah Badu. The new reworking, retitled “HOTLINE BLING BUT U CAINT USE MY PHONE MIX,” is an infectious hybrid of “Hotline Bling” and her 1997 classic song, “Tyrone.”
